Job summary

Roche Diagnostics in Sant Cugat del Vallès is seeking a Biostatistician within the Biostatistics & Personalized Healthcare team. You will contribute to biomarker research, companion diagnostics development, and regulatory-compliant data analysis.

You will gain mentorship from senior biostatisticians while applying statistical methods to high-impact diagnostic projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary study teams. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Education at least MSc/PhD in a quantitative field.
• Foundational statistics for diagnostics (ROC, logistic, survival, etc.).
• Strong R and report automation skills (LaTeX/R Markdown/knitr/Quarto).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Support biomarker development and validation for companion diagnostics.
• Write and validate analysis scripts in R for analytical/clinical datasets.
• Perform data quality checks and adhere to SOPs/regulatory standards.
• Draft SAPs and perform sample size/power calculations for studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present statistical findings.
