UNIVERSIDAD DE LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA invites applications for a Researcher (ICP2, MECES 3) position within a project on medical engineering, additive manufacturing and biomaterials for bone regeneration. The selected candidate will join the Integrated Manufacturing Building, Tafira Campus, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The role focuses on development and characterization of advanced 3D-printed scaffolds with piezoelectric coatings and drug delivery systems for biomedical applications.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master’s Degree in Advanced Industrial Technologies and Processes or Master’s Degree in Industrial Technologies
• English proficiency at minimum CEFR B2 level

Responsabilidades

• Support development of 3D-printed scaffolds (PLA-based) and optimization of design, manufacturing and characterization for bone regeneration.
• Apply and characterize piezoelectric ceramic coatings on 3D-printed scaffolds and develop drug delivery systems.
• Manage dissemination, IP support and data management within the project.
