SME Careers is seeking a Biochemistry SME contractor to review and develop high-quality biochemistry content for AI training. You will assess accuracy, reasoning, terminology, and explanations, providing precise feedback and model rewrites.

Ideal candidates have a strong biochemistry background, 3+ years of related experience, and excellent English. This is an hourly remote role with international collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, chemistry, or related field.
• Strong professional proficiency in English, minimum C1.
• 3+ years of biochemistry research, lab work, teaching, or related scientific work.
• Deep understanding of proteins, enzymes, metabolism, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, lipids, and molecular biology.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: create prompts and gold-standard biochemistry answers.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, reasoning, and terminology to improve quality.
• Identify unsafe or misleading content and validate reliability across life-science use cases.
