Job summary

EDP, a global energy company, seeks a BIM & Digital Systems Intern in Oviedo, Spain to learn and contribute to the BIM strategy and daily BMO tasks, supporting end-users in Autodesk CDE and related tools.

You will create training materials, review BIM documentation, assist with BIM data model deployment, and collaborate across E&C projects. Fluent Spanish and English and a degree in engineering are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Graduate or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Renewable Energies, Electrical or any similar Engineering.
• Studies in data analytics, big data and data management; knowledge of renewable energies technologies (wind/solar).
• Knowledge in BIM (Building Information Modeling).
• Knowledge in Autodesk BIM Design apps like Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, etc.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
• Advanced Spanish and English skills.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is a plus.
• Knowledge of LowCode platforms (Outsystems) and Appian solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in development and implementation of EDP's BIM strategy.
• Support the BIM Management Office in daily tasks and milestones.
• Provide day-to-day support to BIM end-users in Autodesk CDE.
• Collaborate to review and improve BIM documentation (EIR, BIM Manual).
• Identify training needs and create training materials and videos for new hires and staff.
• Participate in BIM Data Model implementation and related data objectives.
