Manychat, a leading billing-centric SaaS platform, seeks a senior engineering leader to own the billing and accounts domain end to end. You will guide architectural decisions, drive a major pricing migration, and build a scalable, compliant billing organization across multiple regions.

You’ll lead a team of 5–6 engineers, partner with Product for Billing and Finance on tax/compliance, and implement industry-standard patterns to ensure rock-solid revenue core for growth.

Formación

• Hands-on experience building and running billing, payments, or processing systems (subscriptions, pricing models, invoicing).
• Experience leading engineers and driving technical strategy in a SaaS context.
• Proven ability to scale and structure billing domains across multiple regions.

Responsabilidades

• Own the billing and accounts domain end to end: processing, billing, and pricing for a platform serving creators in 170+ countries.
• Lead and grow a team of 5-6 billing engineers, with a clear path to scaling the team and structuring around processing, billing, and pricing.
• Deliver the billing roadmap through the end of the year, including completing a major migration of our pricing model.
• Bring proven payments industry patterns and standards into Manychat, and raise the bar on how billing is designed, built, and operated.
• Guide architectural decisions with your engineers: challenge designs, pinpoint risks, and keep proposals grounded in what actually works at scale.
• Partner closely with our Product Director for Billing on making billing more scalable, and with Finance on tax and compliance initiatives.
• Build transparency and healthy engineering practices in the team: clear ownership, visible progress, honest signals.
• Prepare the domain to support new products and ventures that will build on billing and account capabilities.
• Hire, develop, and coach engineers, and make the hard people calls when they’re needed.
