Talan Spain is seeking a Big Data Developer to join a dynamic data team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of data processing solutions on the Client Contribution platform.

The ideal candidate has solid experience with Big Data, Spark, SQL, and data transformation, plus hands-on work in environments like Azure Databricks, EMR, Hive, or Cloudera. You will collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile setting to improve data solutions and processes.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional data development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL).
• Hands-on with at least one programming language: Scala, Python, or Java.
• Experience with at least one Big Data environment: Azure Databricks, EMR, Hive, Cloudera.
• Experience with Qlik Sense and reporting solutions.
• Experience in Agile, CI, and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Sonar, and Nexus.
• English level: B2+ or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and data transformation processes.
• Develop and maintain Apache Spark-based data pipelines.
• Contribute to data integration initiatives across the platform.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data processing solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Follow DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to reporting and analytics using Qlik Sense.
