A leading renewable energy firm in Madrid seeks a qualified candidate responsible for bid preparation in offshore wind auctions. The role involves coordinating bids, maintaining internal procedures, and developing management tools. Qualified candidates should have a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics, and at least 3-5 years of experience in project optimization, with an added advantage for experience in offshore wind. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

Formación

• At least 3-5 years in an industrial company in projects optimization and execution.
• Experience in strategy consulting in similar roles is beneficial.
• Experience in Offshore wind is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support the team in understanding bid rules and deliver the bid in compliance.
• Participate in development and maintenance of the Data Transfer File.
• Create internal procedures to standardize processes and improve efficiency.
• Propose tools to manage knowledge generated throughout auctions.

Responsibility for the preparation of company’s offers in the upcoming offshore wind auctions that the company will be involved (bid preparation and strategy)

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

BID PREPARATION AND COORDINATION – support the team in understanding of bid rules and ensure timely delivery of the bid in compliance with them. Support bid writing if needed and ensure overall consistency of the bid. Support team in coordinating bid preparation in close cooperation with local business units and other company departments

DTF MODELLING – participate in the development and up-to-date maintenance of the DTF (Data Transfer File) which gathers all different inputs (DEVEX, CAPEX, OPEX, Wind yield, PROGRAMME, etc.) and feeds into the Investment Analysis Model

INTERNAL PROCEDURES CREATION - support the team in the creation of the necessary area procedures to standardize and make the processes more efficient and robust

INTERNAL KNOW-HOW – propose and develop internal management tools to assure the company keeps all the knowledge generated throughout the different auctions.

INTERNAL APPROVAL PROCESS – participate in the gathering and preparation of the necessary information materials for company’s internal approval processes prior to bid.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• At least 3-5 years in in an industrial company in departments linked to projects optimization and execution or experience in strategy consulting in similar roles
• Experience in Offshore wind a plus

KNOWLEDGE

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Familiarity with the renewable energy / wind sector is a plus.

Exposure to financial modelling within infrastructure projects is a plus.
