Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is seeking a Business Analyst to design dashboards and reporting solutions, write SQL queries across multiple sources, and develop Python scripts for data manipulation and automation.
You will partner with operations to translate business requirements into technical specs and perform root-cause analyses on operational metrics. You will build and maintain dashboards, ensure data accuracy, and communicate insights and risks to stakeholders.
Job ID: 10511821 | Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U.
In particular, Business Analysts will support the team with different types of analyses (from estimating the savings of a new project to calculating the drivers behind the Team's performance) and work with various stakeholders in Amazon's Operations. We are looking for profiles with analytics and communication skills, business sense and an excellent knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office package.
As a Business Analyst on our team, you own the full cycle from raw data to actionable insight. You write SQL queries to pull operational data from multiple sources, validate it, and transform it into something meaningful. When something looks off in the numbers, you investigate - tracing it back through the pipeline until you find the root cause and flag it to stakeholders before it becomes a problem.
You build and maintain dashboards in QuickSuite that operations teams rely on daily. That means designing layouts, connecting calculated fields, setting up filters, and making sure the right people see the right data at the right level of detail. You iterate on these based on feedback, always looking for ways to make the information clearer and more useful.
You also write Python scripts that automate repetitive work - data validations, scheduled extractions, report generation - things that used to take hours manually and now run in minutes. When a quick ad-hoc analysis comes in from a manager, you use Excel to pivot the data and deliver a clean summary without overengineering it.
Throughout all of this, you share what you find. You communicate insights clearly to stakeholders, walk them through what the data is telling us, and help them make decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions.
Our team sits within the ACES organization and provides analytics and dashboarding solutions that support operational functions. We are a medium size, high-impact team focused on delivering clean, scalable, and well-documented analytics that enable data-driven decision-making across operations. We value seamless development practices, proactive communication, and a strong sense of ownership.
