Amazon is seeking a Transportation Performance Analyst for AMXL in Europe. This office-based role operates in a rotating three-shift system, including potential nights and weekends, and focuses on optimizing parcel delivery performance and operational efficiency.

Description

You will learn logistics from one of the world leaders in this field and will have the flexibility to design your own career path.

This position involves working in a rotating three-shift system, which may include Saturdays, night shifts and on-call duty.

Key job responsibilities

• Plan resources and manage disruption to transportation for your site

A day in the life

This position is office-based, line with Amazon's current work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.

Every day is different in this role. The work you'll conduct is both proactive and reactive, requiring you to analyse the Services Recycling environment and work quickly to resolve any operational issues. You will find improvement opportunities and implement them in the network. About the team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we're changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.

We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of advanced English at CEFR level B2/C1
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree
• Experience of working with SQL, VBA Python, R, or other programming language
• Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership
• Experience in assessing operating processes and outcomes quantitatively and qualitatively
