Job summary

Hach is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage scheduled maintenance, repairs, and commissioning for our customers and to generate leads that grow the business. This role is based in Madrid and requires frequent on-site visits with a focus on delivering top-level service experiences.

You will travel up to seven days per month on average, communicate effectively in English, and apply your electronics knowledge to diagnose and repair systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and site safety.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for managing and performing the scheduled maintenances, repairs and commissioning, also for generating Leads to grow the business and for giving the best service experience to our customers and will be located in Madrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Look at your calendar for today's and next day's work orders.
• Manage the material needed.
• Drive to customer site.
• Talk with the customer, be an active listener, perform the job and give a feedback to the customer.
• Do the report, close the WO, relax and be ready for the next day!

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Willingness to travel up to 7 days per month in average
• Be able to have a communication in English.
• Electronics knowledge.
