Tamarind Intelligence in Barcelona seeks a Manager / Senior Data & AI Architect to lead architectural initiatives for Life Sciences, bridging strategy, technology and business outcomes. You will engage in pre-sales, guide multi-disciplinary teams and ensure production-ready solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in data/AI architecture, strong client-facing skills, and hands-on experience with modern data platforms and GenAI.

Formación

• Strong experience (7+ years) in Data, Analytics, Cloud or AI with architecture leadership.
• Proven Life Sciences domain knowledge.
• Experience designing data lake/lakehouse, data warehouse, streaming, APIs, governance.
• Deep knowledge of at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and Python; Spark knowledge.
• Knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI architectures incl. LLMs, vectors, observability.
• Strong client-facing experience and pre-sales.
• Professional English (C1) and Spanish; Italian or Portuguese a plus.
• Hybrid Barcelona work model with travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a Data & AI reference for Life Sciences connecting strategy, business and technology.
• Involvement from early client conversations through architecture, delivery and production deployment.
• Help build capabilities, reusable assets and propositions for Life Sciences.
• Design end-to-end Data, Analytics and AI architectures across data platforms, lakehouse, governance and MLOps.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure technology solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams comprising data engineers, scientists and ML engineers.
• Lead pre-sales activities: discovery, workshops, RFP/RFI responses and executive presentations.
• Define architecture standards and patterns across security, observability and data quality.
• Collaborate with partners to mature opportunities and ensure operational performance.
