We are looking for a Backup & Recovery Engineer to join our Technology & Professional Services team. In this role, you will design and implement enterprise‑grade backup solutions across complex environments, ensuring customers’ information is always protected, compliant, and recoverable. You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of backup and recovery solutions across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring they meet security, performance, and regulatory requirements. You will also support colleagues as a technical mentor and contribute to project planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable and secure backup architectures aligned with customer requirements
• Implement and optimize backup solutions across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Define retention policies and support disaster recovery planning for critical workloads
• Automate operational tasks and generate compliance and performance reports
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and ensure continuous improvement of backup platforms

Job Requirements

• Proven experience with enterprise backup platforms (Veeam, Commvault, Metallic, Cohesity)
• Experience integrating backup solutions with VMware, Hyper‑V, and physical infrastructures
• Knowledge of cloud backup technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and core concepts (snapshots, deduplication, encryption, archiving, retention)
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and customer‑facing skills

Desirable

• Scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Familiarity with compliance standards (GDPR, ISO 27001)
• Relevant certifications (VMCE, Commvault Professional, ITIL, Azure/AWS Fundamentals)
