iGEBC is seeking a Backhoe Operator in Leganés, Spain to support heavy construction projects. You will operate a backhoe to excavate, load, and transport materials, and use breakers for demolition tasks, as required by the project.

You'll maintain equipment, follow safety rules, and work closely with the crew, training others on operation, safety, and processes, while staying on-site as needed.

Formación

• High school or vocational certificate; TESDA NC II preferred.
• 5+ years of working experience as Backhoe Operator or in related field.
• Proficient in operating backhoes with breakers.
• Strong hand-eye-foot coordination and mechanical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically fit for extended site operation and work.
• Valid local driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform additional tasks to support the operations department and the organization.

CoreResponsibilities

1.Excavation and MaterialHandling

• Operate a backhoe to excavate, load, andtransport materials in various heavy construction operations.
• Handle breakers with precision during demolitionand breaking tasks.
• Operate additional construction equipment asrequired by project needs.

2.Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, andregulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Consistently monitor the worksite to identify andaddress potential hazards.

3.Equipment Maintenance

• Perform daily maintenance on the backhoe,including lubrication and inspections.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in goodworking order and safe for use.

4.Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the crew to accomplish projectgoals, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication.
• Train and mentor other workers on equipmentoperation, safety protocols, and construction processes.
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed,supporting the crew and ensuring site readiness.

Other Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must provide Police and NBI Clearance.
