Freenow by Lyft is seeking a Backend Engineer in Barcelona to join the Driver Engagement Team. You will shape urban mobility by building scalable services and integrating AI-assisted tooling across the development lifecycle.

Work in a cross-functional team, mentor peers, and own features end-to-end. Experience with Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, and modern backend practices is essential, as is strong English communication.

Formación

• Proficient in Kotlin or Java with backend focus.
• Experience with Spring Boot, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own the feature from ideation to deployment, including design and testing.
• Design and develop systems based on product requirements or refactorings.
• Maintain and improve existing systems, optimize DB access, cache, and messaging.
