Job summary

InnoIT Consulting in Barcelona, Catalonia, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Core Team. This role develops reusable libraries and foundational components for multiple product teams in a cloud-native distributed environment.

You will drive the migration from monolith to microservices, enhance performance and observability, and uphold standards like Clean Code and TDD/BDD. English C1 is mandatory; agile collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Python experience (FastAPI and/or Django).
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and system design.
• Experience with databases and messaging systems.
• Strong focus on code quality (Clean Code, SOLID, TDD/BDD).
• Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
• Proactive mindset, ownership and strong team collaboration skills.
• English C1 (mandatory).
