Job summary

Sabio Group in Madrid is seeking a passionate Backend Developer to cover a long-term leave. The role focuses on designing and implementing Java and .NET microservices and REST APIs to support CX integrations for European clients. This temporary contract requires a strong problem-solving mindset within a fast-growing team.

You will work on secure, scalable services, contribute to API design, and participate in CI/CD, monitoring, and production support. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, telecom, math, or a related major.
• At least 4 years of experience in Java (Spring Boot) developing microservices and REST APIs
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and tools, e.g., git, gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Spinnaker, etc.
• Knowledge of system integration: REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, OAuth2/JWT authentication
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack/Kibana or similar)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience working directly with customers or key stakeholders, and able to translate customer requirements into sound designs and efficient implementations.
• Good communication skills.
• An good level of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sabio is looking for an Experienced Backend Developer to join our team in Madrid and help us design and implement the most sophisticated integrations between complex CX environments for the most important companies across Europe.

Work with the team to:

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Education: bachelor's degree in information technology, telecom, math, or a related major.
• Experienced and comfortable throughout the entire software development lifecycle from idea to delivery.
• At least 4 years’ experience in Java (ideally Spring Boot) developing microservices and REST APIs
• Experience with relational databases (queries, modelling, performance)
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and tools, e.g., git, gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Spinnaker, etc.
• Knowledge of system integration: REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, OAuth2/JWT authentication
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack/Kibana or similar)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience working directly with customers or key stakeholders, and able to translate customer requirements into sound designs and efficient implementations.
• Good communication skills.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem- solving skills.

Bonus skills

• Experience integrating CX solutions such as Genesys (Cloud / Engage), Salesforce, etc.
• Experience with API managers (WSO2, Azure API Management, Apigee or similar).
• Basic knowledge of front-end development (Angular/React/JavaScript).
• Relevant experience in contact centre environments or integrations with CX solutions such as Genesys Cloud is desirable
