Talan Spain is seeking an experienced Backend Developer with Apache Spark and Scala to build and maintain scalable backend solutions. You will work in an Agile squad across the full development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience developing with Apache Spark and Scala.
• Solid experience with PL/SQL.
• Experience working with Control-M.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and implement user stories and technical requirements.

• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the solutions.
• Collaborate with other members of the Agile squad to deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
• Support production validation and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when required.
• Work according to Agile methodologies, actively participating in the team's ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong Apache Spark and Scala expertise.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend solutions, working closely with the squad to deliver high-quality solutions throughout the full development lifecycle — from user stories and coding to testing, UAT support and production validation.
