Brickken is seeking a Backend Developer to join its Barcelona team in a hybrid setup. The role focuses on building scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and serverless frameworks.

You will work with AWS SNS/SQS, API Gateway and Lambda, and manage PostgreSQL via Sequelize ORM. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of backend experience, strong problem-solving skills, and an interest in cloud-native architectures.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and modern backend tech.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Sequelize ORM with TypeScript.
• Experience with serverless architectures and Serverless Framework.
• Solid design pattern, SOLID principles, and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Backend development: design, develop, and maintain services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript and serverless frameworks.
• Integrate AWS services such as SNS, SQS, API Gateway, and Lambda functions.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases with Sequelize ORM and Sequelize TypeScript.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, implement caching and ensure fast responses.
• Deploy and manage serverless apps with Serverless Framework and esbuild.
• Work with CI/CD, automate infrastructure provisioning, and monitor logs.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to technical docs and collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams.
