SKIDATA is seeking a Backend Developer to design and build tailored software integrations that connect third‑party systems with SKIDATA products. You’ll own projects from design through testing and documentation, and work with colleagues across regions.

You’ll develop in C#/.NET, work with APIs and interfaces such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, RMQ and sockets, and help partners connect to SKIDATA systems. Fluent English and Spanish are required, with German a plus. Madrid hybrid work model offered.

Formación

• Backend development experience with C#/.NET.

• Fluent English and Spanish are required; German would be a plus.

Backend Developer - Global Customized Solutions

As a Backend Developer, you’ll design and build tailored software integrations that connect third-party systems with SKIDATA products. You’ll solve varied technical challenges, work with integration partners and turn specific customer requirements into working solutions.

Access solutions need to work seamlessly with the wider systems customers depend on. Your work will help turn specific customer requirements into reliable solutions, extending the flexibility and reach of SKIDATA products across different markets and real-world environments.

The role

You’ll take ownership of your own projects, from design and implementation through testing and documentation, while working as part of the global GCS team. Alongside your development work, you’ll support colleagues across regions and contribute to shared coding, architecture and engineering practices.

What you’ll work on

• Build custom integrations - design, develop, test and document backend solutions connecting third-party systems with SKIDATA products.
• Develop in C#/.NET - build reliable solutions primarily using .NET.
• Work with APIs and interfaces - develop and integrate solutions using technologies such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, RMQ and sockets.
• Support integration partners - provide integration support for public interfaces and help third-party companies connect with SKIDATA systems.
• Contribute to engineering practices - support the implementation of coding standards, architecture guidelines and reusable frameworks, and contribute to practices such as CI/CD and AI-assisted development.
• Support colleagues across regions - assist regional developers and contribute to code reviews, technical mentoring and consistent quality.

What will help you succeed

• Backend development experience - with solid hands‑on skills in C#/.NET .
• Integration experience - familiarity with APIs and system interfaces such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, RMQ or sockets.
• Modern development practices - familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps, an understanding of secure coding, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Collaborative approach - self‑organised, analytical and comfortable working with colleagues across different regions and cultures.

Fluent English and Spanish is required. German would be a plus.
