Job summary

El Pollo Loco is hiring for a Food Preparation role. You will prepare side dishes that accompany chicken, help maintain a clean, organized kitchen, and ensure recipes are followed with attention to safety standards.

The position includes assisting teammates with restocking and packing, along with upholding sanitation across equipment and storage areas. Candidates should have a Food Handler Certificate, be 18 or older, and be able to read recipe cards in English or Spanish.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certificate is required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read company recipe cards in English or Spanish.
• Basic ability to follow a recipe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all side dishes that accompany our chicken.
• Assist in maintaining the kitchen clean and organized.
• Follow food handling and safety procedures.
• Support peers with restocking, packaging, and other tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including equipment and storage areas.
• Assist in training new Food Preparation personnel.
