Avanade in Madrid is seeking a Senior Consultant to focus on Azure cloud technologies and Microsoft solutions on client projects as part of our Solutioning Team.

You will participate in presales and delivery, design and implement Azure-native solutions, and advise on governance, security, and deployment practices across IaaS and PaaS, using IaC and DevOps to drive outcomes for customers.

Formación

• Experience designing, planning, proposing and implementing Azure-based solutions, with emphasis on AKS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and sales interactions.
• Automation (IaC) using ARM, Terraform, Bicep, YAML; scripting with PowerShell/Bash/Azure CLI.
• DevOps practices and GitOps; experience writing high-level and detailed designs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise Scale.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in presales and delivery activities, applying project experience and technical expertise to proposals and customer solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-technical teams across Avanade Spain to solve cross-technology challenges.
• Apply expertise in solution design to propose Azure-native solutions that provide value and meet customer needs.
• Provide consulting on governance approaches, platform stability, and evolving business requirements.
• Work on projects across IaaS and PaaS, leveraging Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices.
• Design and implement Azure solutions across subscriptions, networking, security, compute, storage, and operations for major enterprise projects.
• Apply knowledge of latest Azure infrastructure technologies including AKS, Open Source on Azure, Kubernetes, Azure Virtual Desktop, Front Door, and Migrate; CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of Azure Platform practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in both presales and delivery activities, applying your project experience and technical expertise to contribute to new proposals and customer solutions.
• Collaborate as part of a cross-technical team with different Avanade Spain areas, contributing innovative solutions and applying your expertise to solve complex, cross-technology challenges.
• Apply your expertise in solution design to propose and support Azure-native solutions that provide value and meet customer needs.
• Provide technical and consulting expertise to advise clients on appropriate governance approaches, ensure platform stability, and support evolving business requirements.
• Work on projects that utilize the full breadth of the Azure platform across both IaaS and PaaS, leveraging Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices.
• Design and implement Azure solutions across the Azure platform, including subscriptions and management, networking, security, compute, storage, and operations, for major enterprise projects.
• Apply knowledge of the latest Azure infrastructure technologies, including Open Source on Azure, Kubernetes, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Front Door, and Azure Migrate, as well as Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solve complex technical challenges through infrastructure solutions spanning cloud and on-premises environments, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, cloud technologies, automation, scripting, and DevOps.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and the continuous improvement of Azure Platform practices, technical approaches, and solution delivery within the community.

Job qualifications

• Experience designing, planning, proposing and implementing from simple to complex solutions based on Azure Platform with special attention to AKS
• Great communication and interpersonal skills - you’re working directly with clients, sales team, alongside a team of consultants, or within a client team. You’re good at communicating hard concepts so everyone understands
• Automation (IaC) through ARM/Terraform/Bicep/YAML and Scripting in PowerShell/Bash/Azure CLI
• DevOps practices, GitOps and automation
• Experience engaging with and advising clients, writing high-level and detailed designs, and defining architectural topologies
• Knowledge on Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise Scale
• Comfortable working in large and small teams to design and implement solutions
