Swiss Re seeks a Cloud Engineer focusing on Kubernetes and Azure Cloud to manage and improve its shared application hosting platform in the Azure environment. You will automate operations, handle on-call incidents approximately every two months, and contribute to migrating applications to the public cloud.

The role involves working with a managed PaaS platform, secret management, storage, and identity management, with the team distributed across Zürich and Madrid and the base salary range

Formación

• Experience in Kubernetes and general application hosting.
• Experience in public cloud, mainly Azure.
• Knowledge of interacting with API and CLI interfaces.
• Knowledge of programming language Golang and Bash/Powershell.
• Passion for learning and innovating.
• Background in software engineering or application design (plus).

Responsabilidades

• Build infrastructure and a platform that allow Swiss Re units to operate.
• Migrate new applications to the public cloud and optimize existing setups.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to handle high-priority incidents.
• Automate operational processes and manage secret storage and identity management.
