Client Server Limited in Madrid is seeking a Data Engineer to lead transitioning the data platform to Azure, using SQL, Python, PySpark and Pandas to ingest and model data.

You will work onsite Monday to Friday in Madrid, collaborate in a small team, apply modern data engineering best practices, and help implement event streaming while maintaining data quality for a hedge fund client.

Formación

• Top Spanish university with Bachillerato 9.0+ and University 7.0+ in CS or Mathematics preferred.
• Commercial Data Engineering experience with SQL, Apache Spark, Python (PySpark, Pandas).
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Understanding of modern data engineering best practices.
• Eagerness to join a start-up and shape the role.
• Collaborative with strong English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the transition of the core data platform to Azure.
• Manage 3rd party data ingestion and integration.
• Improve data quality and governance across datasets.
• Introduce event streaming to the data architecture.
• Collaborate with a small team and drive practical data engineering improvements.
