ALG - Transport And Infrastructure busca un/a Consultor/a para unirse a su equipo en Madrid o Barcelona. Proporcionarás liderazgo en proyectos de transporte e infraestructura, definiendo estrategias de digitalización y desarrollo de IA/ML para optimizar operaciones y procesos.

Participarás en arquitecturas Big Data, analítica avanzada y entornos cloud, con posibilidad de especializarte en una o varias modos de transporte, trabajando con clientes globales y proyectos internacionales.

Formación

• Maestro/Máster en una universidad de alto nivel en Ingeniería Aeronáutica, Ingeniería Naval, Ingeniería Civil y/o Matemáticas/Estadística/Informática (MiM es deseable).
• Experiencia en Big Data / Data science y en desarrollo de algoritmos de IA/ML.
• Experiencia en programación en Python, R, Matlab, Scala, C++ o Java; disposición para aprender más.
• Conocimiento de arquitecturas Big Data en entornos cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Espíritu de aprendizaje continuo y capacidad de trabajo autónomo.

Responsabilidades

• Definición de estrategias de digitalización/automatización para operaciones o procesos.
• Desarrollo de algoritmos de IA/ML que añadan valor a los clientes.
• Análisis avanzado para apoyar proyectos de consultoría operativa y estratégica.
• Apoyo en definición e implementación de arquitecturas Big Data para entornos cloud.

Currently, we are looking for a Consultant to join our team in our Madrid or Barcelona office.

Your role

As a Consultant, you will be part of one of the top transport and infrastructure consulting companies and you could become an industry-leading subject matter expert or a trusted advisor to senior client management on a wide range of issues.

You will be responsible for:

• Definition of digitalization/automation strategies for operations or particular business processes
• Development of artificial intelligence / Machine learning algorithms that add value to our customers
• Perform advanced analytics to support operational and strategic consulting projects
• Support the definition and implementation of big data architectures for cloud environments.

Our digital team works in projects both hand in hand with other practices within the organization (operations, strategy...) to provide the client with best-in-class recommendations but as well in developing purely Big Data and Data Science projects, from cloud architecting to development of complex machine learning algorithms to add value to our clients business.

This team is transversal to all modes of transportation but each member can be specialized to one or multiple modes.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Master degree from a top-tier university program preferably in Aeronautical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Civil Engineering and/or Mathematics / Physics / Statistics / Computer science. MiM is desirable.
• Big Data / Data science experience is desirable and required:
• Experience programming in one or more languages, including Python, R, Matlab, Scala, C++ or Java and eagerness to learn more
• Coursework or experience in working and/or setting up Big data architectures, particularly in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP is desirable
• Coursework or proven experience in machine learning and working with databases is desirable but not required
• Transportation consultancy experience is desirable but not required
• High level of self-reliance and work capacity.
• Fluent Spanish and English is required and other language are desirable. (Oral and written skills)
• Availability to travel.
• Enthusiasm and dedication for transport consultancy.
