Job summary
Technica Engineering Spain is seeking a Test Engineer in Vigo, Spain to support development and validation of our internal simulation framework for automotive network systems, and to design and execute test scenarios using Python and C/C++.
You will work in a hybrid environment with flexible hours, participate in CI/CD workflows, and collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions for next-generation vehicles.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics, Automotive, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++.
- Experience with software testing and QA.
- Good knowledge of network technologies and protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP).
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Experience with simulation frameworks is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and improve the internal simulation framework toolchain.
- Design and run simulation scenarios for automotive network systems.
- Support deployment and customization of simulation environments per project.
- Develop automated testing solutions and validation tools using Python and C/C++.
- Participate in network testing and validation activities.
- Analyze results and drive issue resolution with teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and validation reports.
- Contribute to CI/CD integration and agile processes.
