Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a seasoned Purchasing Project Professional to lead all purchasing activities for a strategic program in the automotive/plastic sector. You will manage supplier Q, C, T, coordinate sourcing with the lead buyer, and steward the project budget (hours and money) ensuring on-time PPAP and Tier2 readiness.

You will drive sourcing, contract creation, and payments, while coordinating risks and opportunities across internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Mentioned in qualifications: bachelor engineering/science/business with purchasing speciality.
• Minimum of 5 years in purchasing and knowledge of project management in automotive or plastic business.
• Purchasing knowledge and technical negotiations are required.
• Project management, finance & cash management, and logistics understanding.
• Crisis management, communication, leadership, and team orientation are valued.

Responsibilities

• Is responsible for all purchasing activities related to the program (excluding CAPEX).
• Is responsible for the Q, C, T of suppliers free sourced his project.
• Is responsible with the lead buyer for sourcing activity.
• Is responsible for the purchasing budget (hours & money) allocated for the project.
• Is in charge to manage closed purchase orders and follow payment schedules.
• Is responsible for non-event launch related to suppliers.
• Gap to target, PPAP on time, tier2 readiness, project hours management, and Optimap work packages.
