Job summary

Borouge International is seeking an Application Development Engineer to support the Mobility segment across Spain and Europe. You will develop polymer solutions, combining materials science with processing expertise and customer collaboration.

You will engage with automotive customers, drive product optimization, and contribute to innovative projects while working in a remote-friendly role with significant travel across Europe and North Africa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in application development or technical service within polymers.
• Strong understanding of polymer materials and processing technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in Spanish and English;French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for customers, commercial teams, and internal stakeholders in mobility/automotive markets.
• Support customers in optimizing product performance and processing technologies.
• Investigate technical challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
• Contribute to new products and applications for mobility-related markets, including recycled/renewable materials.
• Build customer relationships and represent the company at meetings and events.
