Dow Jones is seeking a Technical Analyst to join the Automation & Reporting team in Barcelona. You will use SQL, Python, and JavaScript to build automation and robust reporting capabilities across Dow Jones products, handling large data volumes and partnering with multiple business teams.

You will elicit requirements from stakeholders, translate them into efficient processes, and communicate progress and blockers to ensure smooth operations.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field or equivalent training.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and processing.
• Experience with BI tools (Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and frontend UI development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
• Agile delivery practices and strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain optimized data solutions and ETL processes.
• Create interactive dashboards and reporting interfaces with strong UI/UX practices.
• Manage a portfolio of deliverables and align with multiple stakeholders and sponsors.
• Improve reporting processes and handle ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold best practices in design, development, validation, and documentation.
