Job summary
Magnera Corporation is seeking an Automation & Process Controls Engineer to serve as the regional technical expert for industrial automation and digital manufacturing across EMEIA. You will bridge OT and IT, supporting PLCs, SCADA, and data integration while advancing Magnera's digital manufacturing roadmap.
You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and IT to improve process stability, asset performance, and real-time data visualization, enabling AI-enabled manufacturing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Automation/Controls or related field.
- 5+ years in industrial automation, process control, or related engineering.
- Experience across multi-site manufacturing environments preferred.
- English fluency; other languages a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for process control and automation across EMEIA sites.
- Support PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial communications systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex control issues; standardize architectures.
- Lead process optimization and start-up support for capital projects.
- Develop OT/IT connectivity and data visualization solutions.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, reliability, and maintenance teams.
