Job summary

Costa Navarino in Greece invites applications for an Attendant, Gym to support daily operations of the fitness facilities and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

You will assist guests with equipment, maintain hygiene standards, and support fitness classes and recreational activities, collaborating with the Recreation team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while following Health & Safety procedures and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in hospitality or fitness is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and training principles.
• Fluency in English; other languages are an advantage.
• First Aid knowledge and experience with children are assets.
• Good communication and guest-oriented approach.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving and time-management.
• Flexible and adaptable to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide on fitness equipment and facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of gym, locker rooms, pool, and related areas.
• Monitor equipment and guest activities; report maintenance issues.
• Ensure towels, water, and guest amenities are available.
• Assist with fitness classes, children's entertainment, and activities.
• Collaborate with Recreation team to deliver guest experiences.
• Follow health & safety procedures and brand standards; participate in trainings.

We are looking for an Attendant, Gym to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will support the daily operation of the fitness and recreational facilities, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all guests. You will assist guests with equipment and facilities, maintain high hygiene standards and contribute to the smooth delivery of fitness and recreational activities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide helpful guidance on fitness equipment and available facilities.
• Maintain the cleanliness, presentation and organization of the gym, locker rooms, pool, jacuzzi and related areas.
• Monitor equipment and guest activities, ensuring a safe environment and promptly reporting maintenance concerns.
• Ensure the availability of clean towels, water and other guest amenities, while keeping supplies well-stocked.
• Assist with fitness classes, children's entertainment and recreational activities, as required
• Work closely with the Recreation team and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards, and participate in required training.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality or fitness is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and training principles.
• Fluency in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
• First Aid knowledge and previous experience working with children are considered assets.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, guest-oriented approach.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work under pressure and meet operational needs
