Auctane, a hub for mailing and shipping software, seeks an Associate Software Engineer in Madrid with a passion for learning and code quality. You will contribute to features, fix defects, and participate in reviews under guidance from senior engineers.

The role emphasizes cloud-based APIs, microservices, and collaboration across product teams, with a hybrid work setup in Madrid and a focus on developing robust software solutions.

About the role

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions under the guidance of senior engineers. Your role will involve assisting in implementing features, fixing issues, and learning programming best practices to support the team’s objectives. You will collaborate with colleagues to understand project requirements, deliver structured code, and participate in code reviews to improve code quality and absorb feedback. You will support testing and debugging processes to ensure software reliability while learning to work with cloud-based tools, APIs, and frameworks.

This role is based in Madrid in a hybrid remote setup.
