As an Associate DevOps Engineer in the Data Ops team you will learn to build and then maintain data systems to ensure data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
You will collaborate with Data Engineers in the Data Ops team and DevOps peers in the Product organisation, learning how to act as a liaison between them. You will learn to deliver DevOps best practices across the DataOps services and infrastructure, while creating synergies and reducing infrastructure costs.
In the DataOps team you will be a self-motivated and engaging engineer who understands the importance of customer-centric solutions. You will learn to work with ambiguous projects, and you will begin to drive innovation through rapid collaboration with your peers and also with colleagues from other parts of the organization.
You will either be a recent graduate or a Software Engineer who has worked in a Development Environment and has examples of project work designed to improve efficiency. Alternatively you will be a Systems Administrator with a keen interest in Application Development with strong scripting skills and examples of involvement in Software Development projects. In all cases you will have a passion for automation, data management and product quality.
You will be comfortable with cloud technologies, your way around the command line, and a solid foundation in programming and troubleshooting. You will have the ability to communicate effectively but may still require some supervision when leading initiatives with other Engineers.
