At Baxter, we believe every person—regardless of who they are or where they are from—deserves a chance to live a healthy life. It was our founding belief in 1931 and continues to be our guiding principle. We are redefining healthcare delivery to make a greater impact today, tomorrow, and beyond.

Every individual is empowered to take ownership and make a meaningful impact. We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.

Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride.

About the role

A global transformation is happening across our Supply Chain function—one where we are intentionally and thoughtfully reimagining how we partner with the business. As Associate Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics Procurement you will help shape how Baxter works with logistics partners, improving value, service, and resilience across a complex international network.

You will lead sourcing and supplier-management activities across transportation, warehousing and related logistics services, partnering closely with business teams to deliver savings, supplier performance improvements, and operational excellence. Your focus will be EMEA, with support for APAC and global initiatives when needed.

This is an opportunity to take ownership, influence regional decisions, and contribute to a broader Supply Chain transformation that will make everyday operations simpler and more effective.

What you'll be doing
  • Shape sourcing strategies for transport and logistics services, leading market reviews, competitive tenders, supplier evaluations, and negotiations so Baxter secures the right combination of cost, quality, capacity, and service.
  • Build strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, parcel providers, and warehouse partners, turning performance reviews into practical improvements in reliability, quality, sustainability, and risk management.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, rate cards, renewals, service levels, and commercial terms, creating clear agreements and working practices that protect the business and support consistent delivery.
  • Use spend data, cost models, and total-cost analysis to identify savings and productivity opportunities, develop sound business cases, and make value delivery visible through accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate priorities across countries, functions, and business units, aligning stakeholders and suppliers so sourcing projects move forward smoothly and operational needs are supported.
  • Monitor market developments and bring forward supplier-led ideas, helping simplify processes, improve workflows, and introduce practical innovation across the logistics network.
  • Support wider Supply Chain projects when required, contributing procurement expertise to transport transitions, warehouse needs, business continuity, and other improvement initiatives.
What you'll bring
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, along with solid and relevant experience in procurement, logistics, transportation, or supply chain, ideally with strong exposure to transport services in multi-country environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing external suppliers, including sourcing, cost review, negotiation, performance follow-up, savings delivery and contracting, which includes but is not limited to Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments and NDAs.
  • Strong financial understanding, with confidence analysing costs and translating data into recommendations.
  • Exposure to logistics network optimisation, warehouse and transportation transitions, or supply chain transformation would be an advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience creating dashboards or using Power BI is an advantage. Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot is also welcome.
  • Fluent English. French language would be an advantage.
  • Clear, data-informed decision making and confidence working with analytics
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills
Why you want to work at Baxter

  • We invest in our people through ongoing learning, development opportunities, and career paths that allow you to build your expertise and progress within the organization.
  • Baxter places high importance on balancing professional success with personal life, supported by our Family Responsible Company certification and ways of working designed to respect individual needs.
  • Our benefits offering includes options such as childcare vouchers, employee discounts, and other flexible solutions that support you and your family.
  • Hybrid model, offering 2 days at home/ 3 days at the office.
