SPL in Broussard, LA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, payment application, collections, and aging analyses in a high-volume environment.

You will collaborate with sales, operations and finance to resolve discrepancies, apply payments, and maintain accurate billing records, supporting month-end close and internal controls. This role offers growth opportunities, competitive hourly pay, benefits, and paid time off.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of accounts receivable experience in high-volume environments.
• Experience with invoicing, payment application, collections, and month-end close.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and ERP billing platforms.

Aufgaben

• Generate and review customer invoices per contracts and billing requirements.
• Submit invoices via SAP Ariba, OpenInvoice, OpenTicket, and GEP Smart.
• Investigate billing disputes and reconcile discrepancies with internal teams.
• Apply payments, research unapplied cash, and adjust accounts as needed.
• Monitor AR aging and conduct collections outreach to resolve balances.
• Coordinate payment arrangements for overdue accounts and maintain records.
• Reconcile customer accounts and support month-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate billing data, tax information, and portal settings.
• Prepare aging reports and AR metrics for leadership reviews.
• Support audits and process improvements as required.
