Job summary

Thales Alenia Space in Madrid Tres Cantos is seeking an RF engineering professional to join a team performing tuning and testing of products. You will manually tune Passive and Active-RF and Digital boards (S and Ku bands) and contribute to module testing with automatic test benches.

The role requires experience with RF instruments, knowledge of space industry practices, and a collaborative, multicultural mindset to drive improvements and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in tuning and testing RF boards in S/Ku bands.
• Experience with RF instruments like network/spectrum analysers.
• Knowledge of space industry rules in clean room and flight hardware.

Responsibilities

• Tuning of Passive and Active-RF and Digital boards.
• Tuning and testing modules with pre-acceptance and acceptance campaigns.

Position Summary – Key responsabilities and principle tasks

The successful candidate will be inserted in a team performing tuning and testing of several products. The tasks will include:

• Manual tuning of Passive and Active-RF and Digital boards (i.e. Filters, Channels, IMUX, VCOs, SSPAs, LNAs, frequency converters…), mainly in S and Ku bands.
• Modules and equipment tuning and test, including pre-acceptance and acceptance campaigns with automatic test benches.

• Experience in similar position
• Experience using RF instruments such as network and spectrum analysers, RF Generators, bolometers…)
• Knowledge in space industry (specific rules in clean area and flight hardware).
