Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking an Applications Engineer to join our office team, delivering technically sound solutions for customers across industrial and special applications. You will collaborate with sales, development and other specialists to craft proposals, evaluate requests and prepare comprehensive offers.

Spanish and English fluency, strong technical acumen and SAP/MS Office knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as inside Sales Representative or Engineer.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
• SAP knowledge and experience with MS Office applications.
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field or 0–2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support defined clientele in the office.
• Evaluate requests and generate solution proposals.
• Perform cost calculations in cooperation with relevant departments.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers.
• Handle order acceptance, review and complete order preparation.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Your role:

Support of the defined clientele in the office

Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals

Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments

Technical and commercial preparation of offers

Order acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)

And any other duties as assigned

Your profile:

Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.

Fluency in Spanish and English

Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.

SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.

BS or BA Degree in relevant field and / or 0-2 years relevant experience.
