Job summary

Auctane is seeking a senior information security professional to bolster global engineering and operations within the Infosec group. You will lead security programs across enterprise and cloud infrastructure, driving threat detection, incident response, and risk management in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the SECOPS Manager, you will shape security technology and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and evolve cybersecurity practices across global infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cybersecurity/IT/computer science or related field.
• 3–4 years (or 8+ years) of progressive cybersecurity/IT experience focusing on enterprise/cloud infrastructure.
• Experience writing technical documentation and communicating security issues clearly.
• Foundational security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or AWS Security preferred.
• Direct experience with engineering/operations cybersecurity projects welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain organizational security systems and solutions.
• Develop controls on security systems via automation and feature development for vulnerabilities and incident detection.
• Perform threat and risk assessments to prioritize remediations and ensure closure.
• Develop and operate standard Incident Response and Risk Management playbooks and adapt during incidents.
• Learn and adapt new technologies and processes based on vendor training and market research.
