HBX Group in Palma, Mallorca, is seeking an Analytics Engineer & Client Overrides Senior Analyst to own the data models supporting Client Override forecasting, reporting and profitability analysis. You will collaborate with Finance, Pricing, Commercial and Business Analytics to drive accurate insights.

At HBX, we believe that tech + data + people set us apart, supported by our “global approach, local touch” philosophy.Job SummaryThe Analytics Engineer & Client Overrides Senior Analyst is responsible for owning and enhancing the data models that support Client Override forecasting, reporting, and profitability analysis. This role combines strong technical and analytical expertise with a solid understanding of commercial and financial drivers to deliver accurate forecasting models, actionable insights, and reliable reporting solutions. Working closely with Finance, Pricing, Commercial, and Business Analytics teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, improving forecasting accuracy, and optimizing business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the data models underpinning the Client Override forecasting process, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement.Develop, maintain, and enhance complex forecasting, profitability, and financial analysis models.Monitor model performance and implement improvements to increase forecasting accuracy and efficiency.Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualisations that provide clear and actionable business insights.Manage existing client override reporting and control frameworks, ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance.Translate business requirements into scalable analytical and reporting solutions.Analyse large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that support commercial and financial decision-making.Partner with Finance, Pricing, Commercial, and Business Analytics stakeholders to support forecasting, planning, and business performance initiatives.Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual reporting efforts.Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 4 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, or a similar analytical role.Proven experience owning and managing forecasting models and reporting processes.Advanced SQL skills with strong experience working with Snowflake.Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and complex analytical calculations.Experience creating executive-level dashboards and visualisations, ideally using Tableau.Strong understanding of data modelling methodologies, data architecture, and large-scale datasets.Experience conducting statistical analysis and translating findings into business recommendations.Demonstrated ability to independently manage analytical projects from requirements gathering through to implementation.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and automation.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.Fluent English, both written and spoken.At HBX Group, we believe that diversity drives innovation and makes travel a force for good.We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected, embracing different backgrounds, perspectives and talents.
