Deel is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to design and maintain scalable data models and end-to-end pipelines that deliver timely, reliable data for analysis. You will work with analytics engineers and analysts to ensure consistent metrics and definitions, applying SQL and dbt to transform data and validate quality.

The role supports Deel’s mission to enable a global, compliant, data-driven workforce, with remote work options and opportunities to lead parts of meetings and analytics

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics engineering or BI development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and dbt and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, or similar).
• Proficiency in Python or a similar language for data processing and automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical teammates.

Responsabilidades

As a Data Analytics Engineer at Deel, you design and maintain data models and end-to-end pipelines to deliver timely, reliable data for analysis. You work with analytics engineers and analysts to ensure consistent metrics and definitions across the team. You apply SQL and dbt to transform data and validate quality, optimizing performance as needed. You will contribute to analytics workflows and occasionally lead parts of meetings. This role supports Deel’s mission to enable a global, compliant, data-driven workforce.

• Design, develop, and maintain data models (e.g., in dbt) aligned with data architecture and business requirements
• Manage data pipelines end-to-end from extraction to transformation and loading
• Use complex SQL queries and macros to transform data and optimize performance
• Incorporate data quality checks and cleansing routines for reliable datasets
• Collaborate with data analysts and analytics engineers to ensure consistency and accuracy of metrics
• Contribute to team processes by leading portions of meetings or sharing improvements to analytics workflows
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics)
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics engineering or BI development
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt and data warehousing concepts
• Hands-on experience with BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, or similar)
• Basic programming skills in Python or similar language for data processing and automation
• Proven ability to handle multiple data projects, troubleshoot data issues, and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members
