Teledyne Sevilla seeks an experienced engineer to contribute to the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal systems. You will define architectures, specifications, models, and perform transistor-level design and simulations using HDL/Verilog and layout.

You will also develop test platforms and run block- and chip-level verifications. The role requires extensive analog IC design experience, DSP knowledge, and Cadence tool proficiency, with a hybrid work arrangement and strong

Formación

• Design, analysis, simulation, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits.
• Experience with DSP algorithms, FIR filters, windowing, decimation and modulation.
• 3+ years transistor-level analog IC design, preferably CMOS.
• 2+ years Cadence EDA tool experience (Virtuoso/Spectre/PVS/Calibre).
• Experience with layout and physical verification.

Education

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (Electronics specialization), Electronics Engineering, Physics (Electricity and Electronics specialization), Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics, or a Master's Degree in Microelectronics.

Previous Experience

• Experience in the design, analysis, simulation, layout, and verification of bandgap regulators, operational amplifiers, data converters, active filters, PLLs, and DC-DC converters.
• Experience with DSP algorithms, FIR filter design, windowing techniques, decimation, interpolation, and modulation.
• More than 3 years of experience in transistor-level analog integrated circuit design, preferably using standard CMOS technology.
• More than 2 years of experience using Cadence EDA tools such as Virtuoso, Spectre, PVS, and/or Calibre.
• Experiencia en el diseño, análisis, simulación de circuitos y layout/verificación de reguladores de bandgap, amplificadores operacionales, convertidores de datos, filtros activos, PLL y convertidores DC-DC.
• Experiencia con algoritmos DSP, diseño de filtros FIR, técnicas de windowing, decimación, interpolación y modulación.

Additional Qualifications / Required Skills

• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit operation, semiconductor device physics, CMOS technology, and its interaction with VLSI circuits.
• Knowledge of circuit analysis techniques, small-signal and large-signal behavior, noise analysis, quantitative mismatch calculations, stability analysis, and feedback loop compensation techniques.
• Knowledge of software for System-on-Chip (SoC) environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal systems.
• Define architectures, specifications, and models (using HDL languages), perform transistor-level design and simulations, layout design, physical extraction, and develop silicon verification and characterization methodologies.
• Develop test platforms and perform block-, chip-, and system-level circuit simulations for functional and timing verification.
• Execute the tests assigned in the verification plan and report any issues encountered during the execution of assigned tasks to the Technical Director.
• Contribuir en todas las fases del desarrollo de sistemas analógicos y de señal mixta de altas prestaciones.
