Placements24 is seeking an expert Airworthiness Certification Specialist to guide aircraft certification projects. The role blends on-site and remote work, requiring collaboration with aviation authorities and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and robust documentation.

Candidates should have 7+ years in aerospace with a focus on certification, strong project management, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of aerospace experience with certification focus.
• Deep understanding of airworthiness standards and certification processes.
• Experience interacting with aviation authorities (DGAC, FAA, EASA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the airworthiness certification process for aircraft, systems, and components.
• Interpret and apply aviation regulations to projects.
• Prepare and submit certification documentation (Type Certification, STC, airworthiness certificates).
• Coordinate with aviation authorities including meetings, audits, and inspections.
• Develop strategies to ensure compliance through design, manufacturing, and operations.
• Conduct compliance reviews and gap analyses for products.
• Provide guidance and training on certification matters to teams.
• Stay updated on evolving aviation regulations and best practices.
