twentyAI, a fast-growing B2B technology company with a Barcelona footprint, is seeking an AI Research Engineer to join a small, highly technical research team. You will blend rigorous research with practical engineering on LLMs, AI agents, and end-to-end ML systems to shape the product.

You will mentor colleagues, drive end-to-end research projects, and communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, with opportunities to publish at leading AI conferences and partner

Formación

• PhD in a technical field related to AI or ML.
• Published research in leading AI/ML venues or journals.
• Strong practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, and production ML pipelines.
• Experience guiding research directions and collaborating with product teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and run reproducible experiments with large language models and AI agents.
• Investigate convergence issues and unreliable outputs across architectures.
• Develop modular, well-documented code and end-to-end research pipelines.
• Choose frameworks and tools for rapid prototyping and production-ready development.
• Define research priorities based on potential product impact.
• Translate research findings into practical improvements for data science and engineering.
• Apply MLOps and containerization to production deployments.
• Communicate findings clearly to both specialists and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor colleagues and support research leadership within the team.
• Foster university partnerships and publish high-quality research at conferences.
