Job summary

Rank On Maps, a US-based local SEO company, is seeking an engineer to build internal tooling and, eventually, a product for other agencies. This is a remote role for someone based in Europe, with a few hours overlap with US East Coast mornings.

You will automate workflows, create dashboards and pipelines, and work with AI models and agent tooling. You will own the end-to-end delivery, from scoping to deployment, and fix issues as they arise.

Qualifications

• Shipped a SaaS product or serious internal platform largely on your own.
• Strong full-stack skills across frontend, backend, database and deployment.
• Real experience building with LLM APIs and agent tooling beyond a demo.
• Good product sense; asks what user needs before coding.
• Clear written English; most work happens in writing.
• Ability to work without hand-holding and address issues early.

We're a US-based local SEO company turning how we deliver for clients into software. We need the engineer who builds it.

Rank On Maps gets local service businesses ranking at the top of Google Maps and local search. Over the past year we've built a lot of internal tooling to do that well: reporting, audits, content pipelines, client onboarding. The next step is to tighten those into systems the whole team runs on, then turn the best of them into a product.

This is a remote role for someone based in Europe, with a few hours of overlap with US East Coast mornings.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Map how work gets done across the team today, then automate the slow and manual parts.
• Build internal tools the team uses every day: dashboards, pipelines, integrations, agents.
• Use AI models and coding agents as a normal part of how you build, and know where they fail.
• Turn the internal tools that prove themselves into a product other agencies and businesses can use.
• Own what you ship: scoping, building, testing, deploying and fixing it when it breaks.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You've built and shipped a SaaS product, or a serious internal platform, largely on your own. You can show it to us.
• Strong full-stack skills. You're comfortable across the front end, back end, database and deployment.
• Real experience building with LLM APIs and agent tooling, beyond a demo.
• Product sense. You ask what the user is trying to get done before you write code.
• Clear written English. Most of our work happens in writing.
• You work without hand-holding and you say so early when something is off track.

COMPENSATION

• $3,000 to $6,000 USD a month, depending on experience.
