Qaracter - Beyond your Challenge in Gijón, Asturias, Spain seeks an AI-Native Backend/API Technical Lead to guide strategic tech initiatives and a global BaaS platform.

You will supervise autonomous engineering workflows, design scalable backend systems, and oversee API delivery using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, with AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining security and quality.

Formación

• Proven backend engineering experience in large-scale systems.
• Experience with API design and architecture.
• Experience leading technical teams and reviews.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software delivery is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead AI-native backend program across Payments, Collections, and Cash Management.
• Oversee API design, code quality, and performance.
• Collaborate with AI tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring security and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and review AI-generated outputs for production readiness.
