Job summary

Talantir is seeking a highly motivated AI/ML Engineer in Spain to join our team on a permanent basis, working at the forefront of AI and machine learning innovation.

The successful candidate will develop, train, and optimize models, improving performance and predictive accuracy for demanding engineering applications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring intelligent systems from concept to production in a data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Maths, or related field.
• Proven ML model development and deployment experience (NLP/CV/predictive analytics).
• Strong statistical analysis and algorithmic characterization.
• Hands-on with ML testing frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
• Ability to design data experiments and interpret complex datasets.
• Proficient in technical reporting and communicating AI results.
• Knowledge of MLOps, model versioning, and data-flow.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or simulations.
• Experience with data quality systems and AI ethics frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support development of new ML models, focusing on deep learning and advanced algorithms.
• Characterize and optimize model performance metrics like accuracy and latency.
• Experiment with large datasets, feature engineering, and model architectures.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product teams for production alignment.
• Develop and maintain ML pipelines, data standards, and tests for model qualification.
• Support R&D projects with technical reports, publications, and presentations.
• Stay updated with emerging AI research and industry standards.
