• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with senior leaders to align diverse priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AI Innovation runs from opportunity identification through value validation, adoption, and scaling recommendations.
• Partner with leaders, frontline teams, and Digital Solutions to identify high-value opportunities and translate priorities into plans.
• Redesign workflows and operating models with automation and AI-enabled improvements.
• Define business objectives, success metrics, and adoption measures for AI initiatives.
• Build stakeholder alignment across matrix organizations and drive adoption without formal authority.
• Lead rapid experimentation, pilots, and validation to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Advise leaders with external perspectives and AI thought leadership.
• Coach AI Innovation Leads and transfer methods to stakeholders.

About the Team

The AI Innovation Program sits within Digital Development Platform and is responsible for accelerating AI-driven transformation across Vestas. We work directly with frontline operations, business functions, and Digital Solutions teams to identify opportunities, reimagine ways of working, and rapidly translate ideas into measurable business value.

As an AI Innovation Lead, you will act as a transformation catalyst, helping business leaders and frontline teams rethink how work gets done through AI, automation, and data-driven innovation. You will guide cross-functional innovation efforts from spotting opportunities to validating value, ensuring solutions are adopted, scalable, and able to deliver lasting impact.

This role combines business transformation, stakeholder leadership, innovation strategy, and AI enablement. You will question established ways of working, bring diverse stakeholders into alignment, and deliver meaningful results across the organization.

Responsibilities

As an AI Innovation Lead, you will play a key role in accelerating the AI transformation across Vestas by:

• Managing end-to-end AI Innovation runs from opportunity identification through value validation, business adoption, and scaling recommendations
• Partnering with business leaders, frontline teams, and Digital Solutions to identify high-value opportunities and translate strategic priorities into practical execution plans
• Facilitating the redesign of workflows, processes, and operating models by challenging legacy practices and identifying opportunities for automation and AI-enabled improvements
• Defining business objectives, success metrics, and adoption measures for AI initiatives
• Building stakeholder alignment across complex matrix organizations while building support without formal authority
• Leading the rapid experimentation efforts, pilot execution, and solution validation to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes
• Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing external perspectives, and thought leadership on AI-driven transformation
• Build organizational capability by coaching AI Innovation Leads and transferring the AI innovation method to business and technology stakeholders

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Digital Innovation, Engineering, Technology Management, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience leading digital transformation, business transformation, innovation management, operational excellence, product discovery, automation, or AI-enabled delivery
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and guiding organizational change within large matrixed environments
• Practical knowledge of AI, automation, data-informed decision-making, and digital transformation principles
• Experience working with senior leaders to bring together diverse priorities in support of common objectives
• Experience evaluating operational challenges and translating business needs into scalable technology-enabled solutions
• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Applies strategic and business-oriented thinking to identify opportunities where AI and innovation can create measurable value
• Manages stakeholders well and promotes cooperation across teams and functions
