dLocal is seeking a DevOps Engineer, Technical Referent in Madrid to lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and steer the shift toward AI-first platform engineering. You will champion AI agents, build self-service platforms, and drive secure, scalable cloud deployments.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, mentoring, and shaping the engineering culture with a strong focus on automation, observability, and modern delivery practices.

Formación

• Proven experience acting as a technical referent or lead, driving decisions and mentoring engineers.
• AI-first mindset and experience integrating AI into engineering workflows.
• Hands-on CI/CD design and automation experience.
• Experience with IaC, cloud-native architectures, and container orchestration.
• Security-first mindset across cloud, infrastructure and AI tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the team's technical referent: drive architectural decisions, set engineering standards, and mentor engineers.
• Champion an AI-first approach to platform engineering: embed AI agents and assistants across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Optimize developer productivity with self-service platforms and automation frameworks.
• Improve deployment processes by enhancing CI/CD pipelines for scalable, reliable releases.
• Enhance developer experience through workflow automation and self-service tooling.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with declarative approaches.
• Architect scalable cloud-based solutions with security and observability in mind.
• Develop internal tooling and automation, increasingly AI-assisted and agent-driven.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance using observability tools.
• Evaluate emerging AI models and define guidelines for secure adoption across teams.
• Advocate modern software delivery: IaC, GitOps, cloud-native architectures, and AI-enhanced engineering.
