Job summary

Panthr is seeking two AI Engineers in Spain to design, develop and deploy production‑ready AI solutions that solve real‑world business challenges. You will work across the AI development lifecycle, from data pipelines to deploying machine learning models.

Focus areas include AI Applications & RAG or Platform, Backend & MLOps. The role offers ownership from prototype to scalable deployment and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑performing AI products.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in software/data/ML; strong practical projects.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control and clean architecture.
• Practical experience building LLM-powered applications using LangChain, LangGraph or related technologies.
• Understanding embeddings and vector search and their application in AI-powered systems.
• REST API development with FastAPI or similar.
• Willingness to own solutions throughout their lifecycle, from development to deployment and maintenance.
• Fluent English; ability to collaborate in an international team.
• Right to work in Spain (NIE and Social Security number).

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered applications: Design, build and maintain applications using Python, LLMs and modern AI frameworks.
• Build AI data pipelines: Process, extract, structure and enrich unstructured data using LLMs, embeddings and vector search technologies.
• Develop RAG solutions: Build and maintain retrieval-augmented chatbots, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval workflows and conversational interfaces.
• Build and maintain APIs: Develop reliable REST APIs that expose AI models and inference logic for applications such as semantic search, similarity matching and recommendations.
• Implement machine learning models: Prepare data, engineer features, train, evaluate and deploy classification and prediction models.
• Deploy and operate AI services: Support the full lifecycle of AI solutions, including testing, CI/CD, monitoring, evaluation and ongoing maintenance.
• Optimize performance and costs: Improve the reliability, scalability, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of AI applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with colleagues from different technical and business backgrounds to translate requirements into dependable solutions.
