Xenon7 in Catalonia, Spain, is seeking a Data Enablement Engineer to design, build, and operate trusted datasets, semantic models, and AI experiences that let business users interact with governed data in natural language.

You will architect AI-ready data products on Snowflake and Databricks, implement semantic layers with robust governance, deploy Cortex/Genie tooling, and build RAG pipelines and apps that enable querying without SQL, while tuning cost and performance.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering on cloud platforms.
• Direct hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex or Databricks Genie.
• Semantic layer and trusted data product delivery.
• Proficient in dbt, PySpark, Snowpark, SQL, Python.
• Orchestration with Airflow or Databricks Workflows.
• Data governance in regulated environments.
• Experience integrating structured and unstructured data.

Responsabilidades

• Design AI-ready data products on Snowflake and/or Databricks — trusted datasets with well-defined business semantics, KPIs, hierarchies, and business glossary alignment
• Implement semantic layers and governed datasets that support traditional BI and natural-language querying
• Deploy and operate Snowflake Cortex capabilities (Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, Cortex LLM Functions) and/or Databricks Genie spaces with Unity Catalog
• Build RAG pipelines and conversational analytics apps grounded in governed enterprise data
• Engineer robust ETL/ELT pipelines (dbt, Airflow, Snowpark, PySpark) that produce and maintain trusted data
• Implement data governance — RBAC, row/column-level security, masking, lineage, auditability, catalog and metadata management
• Optimize cost and performance on data platform and AI side
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate domain requirements into semantic models and governed data products
