Xenon7 is seeking a Data Enablement Engineer to design, build, and operate trusted data products and semantic models on our enterprise data platform. You will work on AI-ready data foundations, governance, and embedded NL analytics to empower business users across Finance.

The role focuses on data platform engineering rather than model training, with emphasis on RBAC, quality, cost control, and scalable pipelines in a regulated pharma context. Location is Castelldefels, Spain.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering on cloud data platforms.
• Direct hands-on experience with Databricks Genie in production or pilots.
• Semantic layer / trusted data product delivery with KPIs and glossary alignment.
• dbt, PySpark, Snowpark, SQL, Python proficiency.
• Orchestration with Airflow or Databricks Workflows.
• Data governance in regulated environments (RBAC, masking, lineage).
• Experience integrating structured and unstructured data into AI workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build AI-ready data products on Databricks with trusted datasets and KPI definitions.
• Implement semantic layers and governed datasets for BI and natural-language querying.
• Deploy and operate Databricks Genie spaces with Unity Catalog and optimize for adoption.
• Build RAG pipelines and conversational analytics apps grounded in governed data.
• Engineer robust ETL/ELT pipelines (dbt, Airflow, PySpark) and maintain data quality.
• Implement data governance in regulated pharma environments with auditability.
